Will you travel for sessions?

We certainly will travel for our client sessions! We charge $100 for travel expenses for 90 minutes of travel to the location of your choise (only available with certain packages).

Why do you charge travel fees?

These fees are used for fuel, food and/or lodging for the photographer.

Do you deliver every image you shoot?

Since we will most likely spend much of your session time taking multiple pictures in different settings and poses, we will only compile the best photos for your review that you can choose from that will be edited and printed.

Do you touch up all the images on our image download?

We do process every photo through preliminary editing for review, additional editing will be preformed on images wanted for prints. Depending on your session, we will go over all the options available to you for edits on your photos.

What do you mean by “touching up” the photos?

By "Touch Up", we mean we can do minor light adjustments and blemish removals. We even can do major edits to images, such as removing a person from an image (if necessary) for an additional charge of $20 per image.

What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?

Depending on your type of session, we will charge an hourly rate of $45/hr for any additional time beyond your original session time.

What rights do I have to the digital prints?

If you order digital prints from us, we will also give you a print release that will allow you to take the images to another print lab or share the photos with family and friends. However, Northern Photography & Design retains the option to use all photographs for marketing purposes and to share with potential clients who are interested in our services.

How many images do you deliver on the image download?

All of the photos you have purchased for digital download. Print images will not be available for download.

What if I lose my images?

If you have purchased images from us, we will keep those images for 2 years, just contact us during that time and we will get you reprints/downloads.

How long does it take to get my prints?

Everything should take about 2-4 weeks. We strive to get your photos back to you as quickly as possible, but it can depend on the client and how quickly they can let us know which photos they want to purchase.

If we cancel the wedding will we receive our deposit back?

No, should the client cancel the wedding session, for any reason, there will not be a refund of the non-refundable deposit. If the session is cancelled due to the photographer, we will refund all money paid to date including the non-refundable deposit.

If we change our wedding to a different date will we be able to use our deposit towards a future date?

Yes, if the date is available. If it is not available, you will forfeit your non-refundable deposit.

Does your studio provide videography services?

Not at this time.
